curds and whey

or maybe just curds. lime curd.

faced with a bowl full of limes that were starting to look sad
there was only one thing i wanted to do –
make a bucket-full of caprioska and promptly drink it.

however, given that it was 10am on saturday and i had chores to do,
there was only one respectable thing to be done –
make lime curd. simple. delicious. and delightfully sunny.

i like it best with warm coconut loaf –
but that will have to wait until tomorrow.
for today straight out of the jar
by the spoonful will do!
