in my world, monday mornings need all the help they can get.
luckily for me, most situations can be made infinitely better
by the addition of sugar, butter and flour –
and this morning proved no exception.
i had pancakes on my mind and pears in my fruit bowl
(so really it was meant to be).
buttermilk pancakes were made, pears were cooked in butter and cinnamon,
and brown sugar was swirled (generously) through greek yoghurt
– the yoghurt being my tiny nod to something resembling a healthy breakfast!
a little drizzle of maple syrup completed my breakfast stack quite nicely,
and all i can say now is: hello monday!
