i think it’s partly because they are ridiculously cute,
and partly because little cakes just don’t seem as bad for you as big ones
(no matter how many you eat!)
with this in mind, yesterday I made some small cakes –
in fact many small cakes.
i made teeny-tiny ones with rosewater glaze and delicate dried rosebuds,
bigger ones with caramel buttercream and white chocolate buttons,
and some more with pretty-pink raspberry icing, just for good measure.
it was the perfect cure for my monday-itis –
pretty and delicious. two of my favourite things.
