spiced chocolate tart

if you’re going to eat chocolate, i say do it properly.

so yesterday that’s exactly what we did.

chocolate pastry and spiced chocolate filling came together to form
one almighty chocolate hit. very decadent and very delicious.

the chocolate-mousse filling was spiked with cinnamon, ginger and star anise
giving the tart a subtle chai-chocolate zing.
a scattering of fresh-red raspberries and a delicious dollop of double cream
completed the picture nicely.

it all felt a bit naughty –
but then i figured, it was sunday, so it was ok.
