lady marmalade

or maybe mr. marmalade would be a more appropriate name for this
rather robust teatime loaf.

filled with bitter-sweet marmalade, juicy currants and mixed cinnamony spices,
this lovely loaf smelt heavenly whilst baking.

it tasted pretty good too.
especially smeared with butter and served with pipping hot tea.
