what could be more cheerful than these lemony little lovelies?

i have a weakness for small cakes.

so when i saw the recipe for these little lemon madeleines –
i had to make them. immediately.

eaten warm, straight out of the oven
dipped in browned butter and sprinkled with sugar
they were delicious.
